About Connie
Garden Exchange was created in 2009 to have a better way to market plants from South Central Idaho nurseries and also tap good quality North Idaho and Oregon plants to fill your complete plant needs. Work in and with these nurseries has been my career since 2000. Prior to that, I worked many years in Wyoming retail nurseries, Agriculture Extension IPM and graduating from WSU horticulture program in 1982.
The cooperative marketing of plants from a diverse group of local growers has been a dream for many years. In order to better fill your needs and improve market access to local nurseries, it is necessary to work in partnership to efficiently grow and move plants to where they are needed.
My experiences in retail garden centers have created a high quality standard for the plants that I like to sell. I will honestly guide you to the best source of plants for your project, whether quality or freight costs are your concern. Familiarity with the nurseries allows me to serve you as a partner.
Garden Exchange is an active member in the Idaho Nursery and Landscape Association as well as the Wyoming Groundskeepers and Growers Association, serving on committees and exhibiting in their annual trade shows. I hope you support and involve yourself in your associations.
